Kids love it, but it is boring for an adult even to watch. You can kind of see why :-P. It's even boring to operate.
I have had to operate this ride way several times, and this was one of the three rides I operated on my first day at Michigan's Adventure. When it gets hot, even when you wipe them down, it gets stinky in the cars, which can hold up to 200 pounds per car, with up to 32 riders in 8 cars (4 helicopters and 4 spaceships). Maximum Height restriction is 54", meaning no one over that height can ride.
Note: I always hated it when the parents called it "the Helicopters". |
