Wait til my ex-boss Tom hears about this

I knew we were getting new contractors... I was just too busy to pay attention to who... except for Jamie, cuz she worked there before.

Well, yesterday I found out that two dipshits, Mike and Eric, work at XO now as well. How do I know them? I worked with them about 7 years ago, when I was with A-Plus Computing Services in Swartz Creek. They got fired for fucking around too much, and they pissed off a lot of people that day.

Now, they're at XO... and they started taking calls today. Honestly I don't think they paid attention in class cuz they struggled through virtually every call. I myself had a light day (24 calls). The other newbies seemed to be decent aside from a few hiccups here and there. But you know, it's to be expected. However, I don't think I've seen that much ineptness as I did today from anyone at XO as I did from those two.

My brother also wants a bike now. I'm in better financial shape than my brother is, and there's no way in hell I'm going to get a bike anytime soon (especially since I want a chopper). If he gets a bike (oh yeah he owns one already that he needs to fix), I'm going to be pissed.

As a side note: I've still got Motorcycle Mania 3 in my CD player, and I think it's been about a month. I just can't get enough of Fu Manchu, Danzig, Cypress Hill, and a few others.

I think I'm done with Match.com

I was driving home from work tonight and I was thinking about a few things. One of the things I thought about was when I went to East Lansing Saturday to meet someone that I started talking to (she contacted me from Match).

You know, it's one thing to advertise oneself as "curvy", but you should actually be curvy. I'm not talking about being like a model, but just have the curves in the right places. She had them in all of the wrong places, and I almost swear she was bigger than me. Plus, I couldn't get this smell out of my mind that was not good the rest of the night and into the next day. Made me want to be in Mt. Pleasant where Scott, Aaron, and Andrew were.

So anyway, I think I'm going to disable my Match profile. I don't get the e-mails like I had set up, and all I seem to get are girls who seem suspicious, that either lie or seem like the ones who would try to change me again (and probably have some sort of death wish, since changing me or molding me into their vision backfires with disasterous results). Any of my longtime friends can attest to that. Plus, Match doesn't even let me reply unless I'm a member myself. Fuck that. I get $20 worth of good stuff on Yahoo Personals.

Meanwhile, the new laptop is good. I got it insured through my insurance company Friday, so that's cool. That meant I could start taking it to work. The co-workers (and two of my leads, also Dell owners) were impressed. I had a more powerful laptop than they did, and I paid less :).



Oh yeah, I got a raise... a whole $1/hr. Woohoo!

I have a laptop

My laptop came in today. Everything is good, except for when I crashed the local network and access to the Internet. I got it up after 15 minutes tho.

Monday was a total bitch. Today was a bit easier to deal with. At least I didn't have idiotic customers trying to pin the blame on me and the company. I guess it could be worse and have a customer recording my call (which actually is illegal).

Meanwhile, I'm being interviewed by a newspaper tomorrow regarding amusement parks and the way they manage land. That will be interesting. I worked for a park that is famous for doing that.

I finally managed to get my hands on the Green Jelly - The Three Little Pigs song today.

While in a way it's cheesy, it's a damn awesome song. I had so much fun with it that I managed to get a bunch of screamsters at Werewolf Canyon (at Cedar Point's Halloweekends) to just look at me when I ask where can I get the song. Though, when I flashed the devil horns, they did flash it back :).

Well, they hired 7 new contractors at XO. They start training Monday. One of them is an ex-coworker who had to leave for Maternity reasons. It sucks that she has to go through training again. All she really needs to do is learn the new plans, and maybe a few new procedure changes. Shouldn't be that bad.

Oh, and I get my Dell laptop Tuesday. Awesome.

Dating stuff

I've been kinda seeing what's out there. I have been trying a few personals sites. Naturally, they want you to pay for them if you want to contact another member, but sometimes there's ways around that.

My last girlfriend I met through Match.com. I just recently reactivated my profile... it's been about a year since that ended, and I figured I'd give it another try. I still talk to one person that I bumped into from that site once in a while.

I've tried American Singles... their daily e-mails... here's who is in your area that you can talk to... may not be a match but oh well. I ditched it.

I'm also on Cupid. I check that pretty actively... and I've talked to a few people.

There's another obscure site... OKCupid (think of thespark). It's funny but it looks like a lot of work to do stuff :).

Lastly... I just started a profile after several years of nothing... on Yahoo. As soon as I got one created... it matched me with women who wanted to be with black men. Now, if people have seen me, do I look like a black male?
