Work still sucks, and stuff
Well, we've been short for 2 weeks now. This week has been more quiet, but it still sucks.
In addition, I got my new supervisor. I kinda felt relieved about that. At least I got someone I could respect a lot more compared to the old one I had.
Meanwhile, Saturday, I went to a Toledo Storm game... got awesome seats for a good price and was able to get close to the action (and the penalty box). The person I went with, Meagan, seemed to enjoy it as much as I did. Plus, it's always fun to see a coach get a misconduct :).
This Saturday, the Legacy of 22A has one of its reunions... this time at Central Michigan, where we're getting together for a CMU basketball game, where they'll surely lose (I hate CMU). It'll be the core members... Aaron, Scott, Larry (Aaron's dad), and myself.
It's been over 2 years since we've started calling it the legacy. We call it that because it reminds us of what we leave behind in order to move on. Laker Village 22A was good to us, and we've had some fun experiences, none of which we'll ever be able to live up to... ever. In a more recent visit to campus when we managed to get together this past August, it hit us all with how much things have changed there. It's not the same Grand Valley that we knew of when we graduated, that's for sure.
Yeah, we've been friends since college, but we're much more than the "college buddies" that people stereotype about. By that I mean "Hey, wanna get drunk?" or something stupid like that. We've got our feet firmly planted in the present, and the future. We've been through a lot together, and believe it or not, we are the only constant as everything else changes around us.
